What Intellimarker Is

Intellimarker is a healthcare financial benchmarking platform developed by VMG Health. It helps ambulatory surgery center operators, investors, and advisors answer one question with confidence: how does our facility compare to its peers?

Each annual edition compiles percentile-level distributions for 170+ financial and operational metrics, including revenue, expenses, staffing, case volumes, payer mix, and liquidity, drawn from more than 600 ambulatory surgery centers nationwide. Benchmarks can be filtered by region, specialty, and facility type, and every report page exports to Excel.

Intellimarker follows an annual release cycle: the 2026 ASC edition presents benchmark data from fiscal years 2024 and 2025.

Every line item in the study is treated as an independent variable: each metric's distribution is computed from the centers that reported that metric, so benchmarks reflect real observed ranges rather than a forced common sample.
